Our back story:
In the summer on 93 two cousins and a best friend decided to be each others support system. Their back grounds dealt with teen pregnancy, discrimination, absent fathers, negative relationships, and lack of self-worth.
We are a group of regular women, who would like to make long lasting and trusting friendships, and we have built a strong support system within our sisterhood both near and far.
We chose the colors Power Pink & Business Black to represent P.R.I.S.S in explanation through colors to explain us. We are about Power and Business when it comes to our lives and our communities.
To become a P.R.I.S.S is easy, maintaining your sista-hood will be the challenge! You must uphold the standard of being a Positive, Respected, Intelligent, Sophisticated, Sista, and be a productive member in your community. Helping the community grow and become prosperous is what we inspire to do for we are all very instrumental in our communities. We are looking to take our "Improving Our Lives to Better Our Communities" message World Wide.
Our Mission is to "Improve Our Lives, to Better Our Community."
We come together as Sistas to help guide each other to this point and never to return back to the other. By encouraging one another as women to behave better and be better, therefore making us better Wives, Mothers, Lovers , Friends, and Citizens.

Greetings my name is La'Vasyette, I am the Founder and C.E.O. of P.R.I.S.S. Inc. I am pleased that you have taken the initiative and interest in wanting to know more about our group. My Co-Founders Melinda and Barbara had Reservations In Paradise and are watching me from above. I lost my best friend Melinda in 2004 to HIV, the disease that causes AIDS that her ex boyfriend had given her. My cousin Barbara succumbed to Cancer that she fought for years. Both causes (HIV and Ovarian Cancer) I support as an individual with a personal passion. I still to this day find myself wanting to pick up the phone and call them. "I miss you both". To hear more of my story, come to a Meet & Greet and lets converse. I hope to meet you soon. PRISS PRISS
We have Meet & Greets every month to give a more formal introduction to our group. If you are interested in attending one of our next Meet & Greet , please contact us with your city/state in subject line via email at email@example.com
Your support and contributions will enable us to meet our goals and improve conditions. Your generous donation will fund our mission.
